$470,000 Given for Haiti Disaster Relief So Far

Since the devastating earthquakes in Haiti, 69 congregations of the International Churches of Christ have given over $470,000 to HOPE worldwide for Haitian Disaster Relief. Incredibly, the 173 member Phnom Penh Church of Christ in third world Cambodia gave $1,460. The 2,876 member New York City International Church of Christ donated over $100,000. Another $530,000 is needed to provide the short, mid and long term relief, retraining and rebuilding. See the HOPE worldwide plan
Plans Announced to Help Disciples and Community in Haiti

Lives lost. Homes destroyed. No food, water or jobs. The devastation in Port-au-Prince, Haiti is overwhelming. HOPE worldwide was on the scene within days of the earthquake. Their second team is there now. On Thursday night, January 28, Disciples Today and the International Churches of Christ hosted the first ever live, onlinle webcast for HOPE worldwide to share with you directly the needs and the plans to help the church and the community in Haiti.
First On-Line Fundraiser - HOPE worldwide for Haiti

HOPE worldwide for Haiti will be the first fundraising event of its kind when viewers can learn firsthand about disaster relief activities in Haiti to help members of the Port-au-Prince Church of Christ and instantly respond by making online donations to HOPE worldwide.
Haitian Disciples Serving Others On Site Of Collapsed Church Building

With the death toll rising and bodies stacking in the streets, Haitian disciples are serving and sharing what they have with others on the site of their collapsed church building. Here is an update from Stanley Dumornay who is trying to find a way to Haiti to help.
